Around the Glass Museum
The Frauenau Tourist Information Office is located within the foyer of the Glass Museum.
In the Glass Museum there is also an Information Point of the Bavarian Forest National Park with a multi-media permanent exhibition about the nature and landscape of the region.
A well-sorted Museum Shop offers regionally produced souvenirs and small art works in glass, as well as books, films and information material on the culture of glass.
The Cafeteria at the Glass Gardens is located within the Glass Museum building. Museum visitors are also welcome for coffee and cakes.
The Glass Gardens of Frauenau were opened in 2010. In three park areas – around the Glass Museum and the nearby glass factories Eisch and Poschinger – you can walk on wide paths and enjoy open-air glass sculptures created by regional and international glass artists.
